Docent Guided Public Tours
Tours at Morris-Jumel Mansion are typically self-guided, and there is no need to make a reservation beforehand. However, on select days every month, a docent is on hand to lead an in-depth, guided tour of the Mansion. Guided tour days and times are as follows:
Every Saturday at noon one of our knowledgeable and friendly docents is at the Mansion to lead you on a one-hour tour. You will learn about the history of the house and hear stories about the people who lived in it.
MJM offers a docent-lead tour on every Sunday at 2 p.m. The format is that of the Saturday tour.
MJM also offers a docent-led tour on the first Friday of every month at 1 p.m.
